Unistrut Construction, a part of Atkore, is a Chicago based (Addison, IL) specialty steel contractor with approximately 250 employees and branches in major cities across the United States. We specialize in Healthcare and High-tech Datacom construction work and are licensed nationwide with expertise in design, engineering, fabrication, and installation services. Our goal is to create value for our customers and stakeholders by providing innovative differentiated solutions to the construction market. We support small “book and turn” renovation work as well as large complex multimillion dollar multiyear projects. Our primary customers in these segments are sophisticated larger General Contractors serving the renovation and new construction segments building marque or highly visible projects across the region
Who we are looking for :
We are currently searching for an Inside Sales Rep (ISR), based in Tampa, FL or Addison, IL for our Unistrut Construction business. In this role, the ISR will identify, qualify, bid, and secure projects in the Healthcare, Data Center and Complex Commercial Construction markets in your Region. The ISR works closely with our Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and will share critical information for mutual success. This role can be a long-term position or as a pathway to take on a RSM position.
What you’ll do :
- Work collaboratively with RSMs, Project Managers (PMs), and our Estimating Team, to support customer requirements (on small to medium sized construction projects) while achieving sales revenue and margin objectives.
- Optimize custom searches using online platforms such as Dodge, Building Connected, Medical Construction Data, etc.) to manage inbound leads.
- Actively respond to request for quote / request for proposal solicitations and qualify projects to improve our probability of success.
- Examine and interpret blueprints, drawings, and reflected ceiling plans to find Unistrut appropriate scope of work and coordinate requirements to the estimating team.
- Implement a robust follow up process with customers and manage key data within our CRM platform (Salesforce).
- Help expand our scope of work through strong customer engagement, uncovering client needs, to ultimately provide a solution that offers unmatched quality, delivery, and value.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $49,600 - $68,200. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
