Who we are looking for :
We are currently searching for a Pricing Analyst to be based out of Harvey, Illinois. Reporting to the Sr. Director, SIOP & Pricing Strategy, this person will be responsible for performing quantitative and accurate pricing analyses to optimize overall profitability while driving continuous improvement activities for the pricing and quotation team.
The ideal candidate will have minimum of 3 years of professional experience and preferably experience in pragmatic pricing solutions, quotations, sourcing / purchasing, finance, transfer cost pricing, or operations and continuous improvement.
What you'll do :
- Conduct product price research, analysis, and program development for price management strategies in support of sales and profit goals.
- Support and contribute to sales and marketing strategies involving new product pricing, price modifications to existing products, and implementation of new price programs and new business practices.
- Identify opportunities to optimize processes regarding stock discount pricing, project quoting, and special pricing agreements.
- Lead cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives relating to pricing processes.
- Contribute to all aspects of customer bids / RFPs / RFQs by performing strategic pricing analysis and overall profitability analysis of the business opportunity for all Mechanical Products & Solutions customer segments.
- Author process improvements, ideation, and consultative work - building towards a Pricing Center of Excellence, PCoE.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $81,400 to $89,540. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
