Unite Contracting is looking for a skilled Tig Welder to join our team working in a fabrication shop. The Tig Welder must be able to cut and join metals with precision from technical drawings and verbal instructions. The ideal candidate can work solo or as a team.
Requirements
Strong knowledge of all types of welding processes, Tig, Mig and Stick.
Familiar with Mild Steel. Capable of working with tube or channel to fabricate various items.
Knowledge of working with welding tools and equipment.
Skilled in operating power and hand tools.
Ability to understand oral and written instructions of a technical nature.
Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures.
Inspect manufactured material has required parts and meet quality control standards.
Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Able to lift in excess of fifty pounds.
Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)

Experience :
Experienced Tig, Mig and Stick Welder
Experience Welding in Mild Steel
Fabricating Experience - able to read blue prints drawing and assembly / weld
