PURPOSE
The Azure Cloud Administrator is responsible for managing, monitoring, and maintaining the organization's cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure. This role ensures high availability, security, and performance of cloud services while supporting organizational operations. As the primary person responsible for the fund cloud environment, the Azure Cloud Administrator’s responsibilities also include triaging escalated tickets from other teams and working with application owners to implement new systems and resolve issues and educating other systems administrator peers on the cloud environment.

Essential Job Functions And Duties
- Administer and maintain Azure cloud environments, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and security.
- Monitor and optimize Azure resources to ensure performance, availability, and cost efficiency.
- Implement and manage security policies, identity and access management (IAM), and compliance standards in Azure.
- Deploy and manage Azure AD, Entra ID, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), PowerBi gateways, and Microsoft Intune.
- Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Ensure backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans are in place for cloud-based systems.
- Support IT and Analytics teams with Azure-related troubleshooting, issue resolution, and technical documentation.
- Manage hybrid cloud integrations and work with on-premises Active Directory and networking teams.
- Stay up to date with Azure service updates, best practices, and industry trends.
- Work with management and business teams to identify, develop, and implement operational processes to maximize user and IT efficiency
- Work with Infrastructure Manager to manage cloud costs and ensure proper billing
- Using Azure tools develop cost trend reports
- Timely and accurate completion of project tasks as assigned by management
- Maintain accuracy of Cloud architecture documentation
- Partner with third-party support for escalation of issues
- Be a part of the patch, upgrade, and deployment teams
- Work with vendors as needed for both system implementation and technical support
- Provide level II/III support of helpdesk tickets
- Sets goals and achieve measurable results

Years of Experience and Knowledge
- 2 ~ 4 years of direct experience in a cloud environment minimum
- Hands-on experience with Azure AD, RBAC, networking (VNet, NSGs, VPNs), and security controls.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Security Center.
- Working knowledge of on-premises Windows data center technologies (Server, AD, DNS, DHCP)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience required
- Preferred: Microsoft certifications such as AZ-104 (Microsoft Azure Administrator)
- Intermediate level PowerShell and automation through scripting technologies
- Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Intermediate level Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to interact with non-technical staff including phone, in person, and email/IM.
- Root cause analysis, problem determination, system trend analysis
- Flexibility to work off-hours as necessary to meet project deadlines or resolve urgent issues
- Adaptable to changes in technology, business, and project requirements
- Initiative to identify and lead process improvement opportunities
- Manage competing deadlines and multiple projects

Salary : $85,300 - $106,700
