Key Responsibilities:
As a Supervisor- Aircraft Appearance, you’ll lead our Aircraft Appearance audit team and ensure our high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency are met.
- Schedule, coordinate, and report on standard and non-standard aircraft appearance audits.
- Conduct aircraft appearance audits to comply with audit schedule.
- Review team performance and recommend improvements in quality and efficiency.
- Act as the primary contact for UAX quality matters related to contracted services.
- Manage the Aircraft Appearance team, optimize audit schedules, and support operational goals.
- Partner with internal and external teams to address requests and actions promptly.
- Lead small to medium projects, meeting deadlines, staffing, and expectations.
- Provide guidance and foster team participation to promote growth and efficiency.
- Provide job specific training to aircraft appearance audit team.
- Enhance processes through updated tools, schedules, and working groups.
- Research, assess, and resolve safety, security, and compliance concerns.
- Build strong relationships with customers and adjacent partners.
Location: This position is based at any hub (SFO, LAX, DEN, ORD, IAH, EWR, or IAD). A hybrid work schedule is available, typically requiring three days in the office, subject to change based on company needs.
Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in aircraft maintenance or operations.
- 2 years in a Quality Assurance or auditing role.
- Strong communication, collaboration, organizational, and auditing skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other department software tools (FastField, QAAS, eTQ)
- Willingness to travel up to 20%, domestic and international.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
- Successful completion of an interview is required to meet job qualifications.
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position.
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Quality, Operations, Aviation Management, or a related field.
- A&P License
- Quality certification (e.g., ASQ).
- Strong auditing, investigative, and leadership skills.
- Effective presentation abilities.
The base pay range for this role is $71,345.00 to $97,240.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
