WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections on products at various stages of production.
- Cross-check products against prints, drawings, inspection sheets, and quality criteria.
- Issue and maintain calibration of gauges used in inspection processes.
- Record and maintain accurate inspection data.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Communicate quality alerts and concerns effectively across the organization.
- Exercise authority to halt production when non-conforming parts are detected.
- Assist in training operations personnel on quality expectations.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of experience in a related quality function.
- Strong understanding of metal fabrication concepts and processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 100 pounds with assistance.
