ABOUT THE JOB
As the HR Manager at United Alloy, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our organizational culture and advancing our people strategies. This entails leading and aligning all HR functions for the site, including performance management, compensation, benefits, and employee relations. You will foster and enhance the skills of our team members, empowering them to maximize their potential and contribute significantly to our organizational goals. The HR Manager is a proactive leader with the critical thinking and problem-solving abilities required to address complex HR issues and drive our organization forward.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Set the standard for behavior expected of all UA employees, leading by example to cultivate UA's culture development process.
- Manage the site HR team in fulfilling their responsibilities, establishing work priorities, and aligning with company objectives.
- Take an active role as a member of the plant leadership team.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Optimize departmental efficiency and effectiveness by streamlining business processes.
- Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, morale, and overall satisfaction.
- Oversee the planning and execution of all site HR-Related activities, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations, keeping abreast of changes and updates.
- Undertake special projects and other duties as assigned, coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related field
- 5 or more years of relevant Human Resources experience.
- Proven leadership skills with at least 3 years’ experience of directly managing a team
- Exceptional proficiency in both verbal and written communication.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to navigate challenging situations with sensitivity and discretion.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt and respond to changing circumstances and new challenges.
- Approaches problem-solving with attention to detail, logic, and a methodical mindset.
- Demonstrated abilities in managing workload efficiently, prioritizing tasks effectively, and meeting deadlines under pressure.
- Must be able to navigate in a windows-based computer environment, along with experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- This will be an onsite position in Union, OH.
- Occasional travel may be required, approximately 10%.
