What will you be doing?
The Admissions Specialist reports directly to the Manager of Admissions. The Admissions Specialist develops, maintains, and manages the database of prospective students and assists in the planning, coordinating, and monitoring the recruiting and outreach activities of United Aviate Academy. The Admissions Specialist is also responsible for all aspects of the admissions process with students entering the Academy with a Private Pilot License, current United employees, and relatives of United employees.
Duties / Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the student experience in the admissions processSchedule and coordinate completion of tasks required by incoming students and internal candidates through alternative recruitment channelsTrack student progress of documentation required to attend the AcademyParticipates in the development of outcomes, monitors assessment of those appropriate outcomes, and assists in the development of plans of action for improvement based on the assessment of those outcomesKeep a master calendar of schedules for classes to ensure all have a designed number of students attendingParticipates in preparing for and facilitating admissions workshops and presentationsOrganize and update files as neededAnswer calls and emails and perform essential administrative workPrepare and deliver feedback from students, customers, and employees to management and executive teams with recommendations for change where necessaryWorking with team leaders, managers, and department heads to learn departmental needs and goalsEnsuring that all activities conform to local, federal, industry, and company standardsIdentify, escalate, and resolve any problems in the admissions processPerforms other duties as assignedMinimum Requirements
Experience :
2-4 years' experience as an admissions specialist or similar roleExperience in office management or an administrative roleExcellent communication and people management skillsExperience in the customer service field is a preferredEducation :
High school diploma / GED required.Bachelor's degree preferred.Essential Knowledge, Skills, Behaviors :
