Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Corporate Warehouse Manager to oversee the operations of our warehouse facilities in St. Louis, Michigan, Louisiana, and Texas. This role requires a leader who can manage a team, optimize warehouse processes, and ensure smooth logistics operations. The Corporate Warehouse Manager will be responsible for inventory management, staff development, and the implementation of safety and quality control measures. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a strong understanding of warehouse systems, and the ability to drive performance improvements across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warehouse Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the St. Louis warehouse (team of 3-5) along with supervise the warehouse managers in our Michigan, Louisiana, and Texas locations.
- Staff Leadership & Development: Lead, train, and develop a team of warehouse personnel. Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and promote a positive, results-oriented work environment.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure products are correctly stored, organized, and accounted for. Oversee regular stock audits and implement best practices for inventory management.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all warehouse activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Implement and enforce safety procedures and address any safety concerns promptly.
- Logistics & Distribution: Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to clients and customers.
- Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve warehouse operations, implementing new technologies, processes, or systems to increase productivity. Optimize warehouse layouts and shipping processes to improve efficiency.
- Maintenance and Cleanliness: Maintain the SQF status at St. Louis warehouse and develop maintenance programs for all warehouse locations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in distribution warehouse management leading a team of at least 5 people.
- Ability to travel 1-2 weeks per quarter
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics systems.
- Proven ability to manage teams, drive performance, and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
