Job Description
JOB SUMMARY :
Responsible for supporting United’s Corporate Social Responsibility Compliance Program by offering administrative support to the CSR department.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Document, track, and analyze employee volunteer activities, CRA-qualified loans, donations, and investments. Document, track and report sustainability metrics.
Assist in preparation of CSR reports. Distribute reports to relevant parties internally.
Assist the CSR team in working with community partners in accessing community development grants such as the Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB), Affordable Housing Program by submitting applications, tracking funds, and monitoring United’s overall program.
Coordinate and gather documentation for the preparation of the CRA self-assessment and regulatory exams.
Support CSR team in facilitating community partner relationships.
Assist individual employees and regional markets in identifying or developing community development service opportunities.
Assist in preparation for, coordination of, and delivery of internal trainings and meetings.
Prepare department correspondence.
Be familiar with all applicable laws and regulations.
Respond promptly to employee inquiries.
Qualifications
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS :
Post high school education highly desired
Minimum of two (2) years of professional working experience required.
Banking experience or community development experience highly desired.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products required (Excel, Word). Familiarity with Microsoft Planner, Teams, and Power Platform a plus.
Experience in database management or analysis software a plus.
Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal skills required
Strong verbal and written communication skills required
Ability to interact with all levels of staff and customers internally and externally
Ability to multi-task and be flexible in a fast- paced environment
Demonstrated passion for community development

Essential Functions :
Sitting for extended periods of time.

Ability to travel via air, rail, automobile and / or bus.
Requires extensive telephone contact, repetitive hand / arm motion and comprehension / interpretation of written / verbal instructions.
