Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Director to lead our initiatives in shelter, housing, nutrition, and grooming. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing our eight programs (Day Shelter, Men's Night Shelter, Medical Respite for Men, Medical Respite for Women, Women's Shelter on Walnut Street, Diversion/Crisis Center, White and Red Flag and Apartments). They will manage the programs and supervise staff while ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to individuals in need. This role requires strong relationship management skills and a commitment to fostering a supportive environment for both clients and team members.
Duties
- Develop, implement, and evaluate programs that meet the needs of individuals in need.
- Manage program budgets effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.
- Supervise and support program staff, providing guidance and fostering professional development.
- Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to enhance service delivery and promote program visibility.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Conduct regular assessments of program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments based on feedback and outcomes.
- Engage in relationship management with guests and external organizations to build trust and ensure satisfaction.
- Provide administrative support as needed to facilitate smooth operations within the program.
Experience
- Proven experience in program management and successfully overseeing staff in various programs as listed above is essential.
- Background in social work or related fields is preferred.
- Experience working with individuals in need of elemental services to survive is a significant advantage.
- Strong skills in budgeting, supervising staff, and program development are required.
- Excellent relationship management abilities to foster collaboration among diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated administrative skills to support effective program operations.
