Position Summary:
The Assistant Site Supervisor supports the Site Supervisor in managing and overseeing the daily operations of programs for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. This role involves assisting with activity coordination, staff supervision, and participant engagement, while ensuring adherence to United Cerebral Palsy of Nevada’s policies and best practices. The Assistant Site Supervisor collaborates closely with the Site Supervisor and staff to maintain a positive, professional environment that encourages the growth and development.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Program Support: Assist in organizing, planning, and implementing daily activities and volunteer opportunities that promote independence, skill-building, and social development tailored to participants' needs and interests.
- Supervision:Provide direction and general oversight to staff, collaborating with the Site Supervisor to ensure a cohesive and efficient team dynamic.
- Training:Utilize innovative and engaging methods to train staff on their responsibilities, focusing on fostering strong connections with participants and staff. Assist with new employee training and facilitate job shadowing to support onboarding and skill development.
- Role Modeling: Consistently demonstrate professional workplace behavior, job competencies, and active participation in enrichment activities to inspire staff engagement and participation.
Essential Functions:The Assistant Site Supervisor's role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, aimed at facilitating the smooth operation of the programs for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
- Efficiently organize and distribute tasks among various teams, ensuring a balanced workload and
optimal program functioning.
- Address staff complaints and contribute to effective problem-solving, promoting a harmonious
work environment.
- Assist in managing behavioral issues among Team Members, employing appropriate strategies to
ensure a safe and supportive atmosphere.
- Ensure adequate supervision of both Team Members and Staff, promoting participant safety and
engagement.
- Provide guidance to staff for accurate and timely documentation and reporting of essential
information.
- Review monthly reports and write and submit quarterly reports to meet organizational and
regulatory requirements.
- Communicate with service coordinators and team members’ support teams to ensure
collaboration and continuity of care.
- Mediate minor disputes among staff, and enforce organizational policies, acting as a bridge
between employees and the employer.
- Maintain open communication with management, sharing program updates and insights, as
needed.
- Complete all required paperwork in a professional and timely manner.
- Work with the Site Supervisor to establish and enhance life enrichment programs that promote
participant growth and engagement.
- Lead team discussions and meetings as necessary to foster collaboration and shared objectives.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age with a valid photo ID and proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Must have High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent.
- Must have reliable method of travel to work site.
- Must have a history of being punctual and reliable.
- Must demonstrate a desire to work with people with disabilities, and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Supervisory experience AND experience working with people with disabilities.

Classification and Required Conditions of Employment
Part-Time; Non-Exempt
· Criminal Background Check
· CPR/First Aid Certified (or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment)
· Shift hours are Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, with flexibility required based on program needs.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
