We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Grant Administrator to oversee grant funding processes, ensuring compliance, reporting, and successful execution of grant-funded behavioral health initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Research, identify, and apply for federal, state, and private grants aligned with UCF’s mission and programs.
- Manage the full lifecycle of awarded grants, including budgeting, reporting, and compliance with funding requirements.
- Work closely with program managers, finance teams, and leadership to track and allocate grant funds effectively.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports to grantors, demonstrating impact and fund utilization.
- Maintain accurate records, deadlines, and documentation in accordance with grant regulations.
- Develop and implement grant-related policies and procedures to ensure compliance with funding requirements.
- Serve as the primary liaison between UCF and funding agencies, fostering strong relationships with grant providers.
- Monitor grant performance, ensuring program goals and deliverables are met.
- Write grants as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, nonprofit management, public health, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: 2 years of grant administration, grant writing, or related experience, preferably in the healthcare or behavioral health sector.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and foundation grant regulations, including experience with SAM.gov, Grants.gov, HRSA, or similar funding sources.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in grant management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple grants, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with Medicaid, SAMHSA, HRSA, and other healthcare-related grants.
- Understanding of behavioral health funding structures and compliance requirements.
- Strong research and proposal-writing skills.
