Responsibilities :
- Assist the Credit Department Manager with all aspects of lending
- Facilitates the preparation of credit underwriting and analysis of new and existing loans
- Ability to analyze personal and corporate tax returns along with financial statements to compile a comprehensive analysis for rending decisions
- Assist in on-going covenant and financial monitoring
- Works closely with Commercial Loan Officers in gathering financials and documentation imperative in making a sound credit decision
- Prepares and assembles various monthly and quarterly reports as needed for submission to management
- Maintain a good working knowledge of the Bank’s lending policies and procedures and identify exceptions to policy
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related degree (or equivalent experience)
- 3 years of experience in commercial loan underwriting required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge or interest in learning reporting and data analysis tools
- Regard for all important details to assure accuracy in every transaction performed; detect errors; follow through on corrections and details
- Ability to effectively manage one’s time to complete work according to established deadlines. The ability to prioritize tasks to make the best use of time for high priority tasks.
