As a Deposit Operations Floater, you'll have the unique opportunity to work across all departments in Deposit Operations, supporting various processes and ensuring continuity. You'll fill in for team members as needed and provide relief during busy periods, making a significant impact on our daily operations. What You’ll Do:
- Versatile Support: Perform daily tasks for departments such as ACH & Cash Ops, Balance Control, ATM Support & Card Operations, Deposit Account Maintenance, Deposit Documentation, Research Returns, Wire Transfer, and possibly Interactive Teller.
- Ensure Continuity: Fill in for team members or provide relief during heavy work cycles to maintain smooth operations.
- Efficient Task Management: Complete work assignments accurately and promptly.
- Customer Service: Handle branch phone calls and emails from bank representatives across various functions.
- Team Collaboration: Maintain strong working relationships with all teams and support colleagues.
- Process Improvement: Recommend changes to streamline processes and reduce expenses or losses.
- Procedure Review: Ensure branch operational procedures are clear and accurate.
- Training & Projects: Assist with on-the-job training and special projects as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience:
- 3-6 years in a financial institution, banking operations, or related field preferred.
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance desired, or a combination of education and work-related experience.
- Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and general office equipment.
- Strong understanding of state and federal banking rules and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and switch between functions with ease.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Willingness to travel periodically for training or conversion purposes.
- Commitment to completing all required compliance training.
