United Community Bank is in search of a Loan Servicing Representative.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform daily custodial functions associated with secondary market loans
- Certifying new loans as a trust assistant
- Logging new loans and releases
- Filing new notes and pulling files for release
- Assist in custodial reconciliations and note audits as needed
- Receive, review, and update swap notices and models from participating banks
- Post swap loan payments to bases and participations
- Change and review daily index rates
- Update insurance information on core system
- Process insurance premium payout
- Monitor expired and missing insurance lists
- Send loan correspondence to customers
- All other duties as assigned

Computer Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point)
- Experience with Encompass or LaserPro a plus
Education/Experience Requirements:
- High school degree or equivalent

- Previous customer service skills preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to practice discretion and handle confidential information in a professional manner
- Ability to perform duties independently with limited direct supervision

Attendance Requirements:
Employees are expected to report to work as scheduled, on time and prepared to start work. Employees are expected to remain at work for their entire work schedule. Late arrival, early departure or other absences from scheduled hours should be avoided.

Working Conditions:
This job operates in a retail banking setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical requirements:
- Ability to stand for up to eight hours

- Requires the ability to hear, speak and/or signal people
- Effectively communicate verbally, in writing, and in English
- Requires manual dexterity, typing, and the ability to count money and key in transactions
