About the Role:
As a Loan Servicing Specialist II, you will perform complex and non-routine administrative tasks, exercising significant judgment and discretion. You will support a single team within Loan Operations, ensuring loan boarding packages are input into the core system according to bank, regulatory, and investor guidelines.
What You’ll Do:
- Gather, interpret, and transcribe complex and non-standard information to ensure loan boarding packages are accurate.
- Review documents such as loan approval forms, appraisals, title work, insurance, and other requirements to perfect our collateral position.
- Process complex and non-standard boarding requests, perform Quality Assurance reviews, and complete complex loan research and maintenance requests.
- Assist Account Officers with loan booking and maintenance questions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to requests and issues accurately and timely.
- Meet performance standards of established production and quality metrics.
- Adhere to corporate policies and procedures.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience:
- Minimum three years of experience in a Loan Operations/Loan Processing environment or related role.
Education:
- College degree preferred.
Required Skills:
- Detailed knowledge of Retail and Commercial loan documentation requirements.
- Knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements.
- Advanced communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with LAS and Loan Document platforms.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Participation in all required compliance training, including Bank Secrecy Act/anti-money laundering training, as well as internal and external training programs, online training, meetings, and seminars/conferences.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with complex and non-standard administrative tasks.
- Strong judgment and discretion in task performance.
