Automation Engineer

Job Overview : We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team for a 12-month assignment, supporting key projects including a lab renovation and a new formulation and filing site expansion. This individual will work closely with the project team and system integrators as we prepare to release an RFP and move into the implementation phase.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide automation engineering support for the lab renovation and site expansion projects.
  • Collaborate with system integrators.
  • Review and approve User Requirements Specifications (URS) and validation packages.
  • Work with lab equipment set-ups and automation integration.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications :

  • 5 years of experience in automation engineering, preferably within an FDA-regulated environment.
  • Strong familiarity with Wonderware Archestra SCADA system (highly preferred).
  • Experience in lab equipment set-up and automation.
  • Knowledge of reviewing and approving URS and validation packages.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and collaborate with system integrators.
  • Exp working with a systems integrator
  • Exp with Automation system - Wonderware archestra (preferred)
  • Trade offs exp with Rockwell and Siemens
