Job Description
As an Outpatient Clinician with United Counseling Services, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality clinical services to individuals and families affected by mental health and/or substance use issues.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Direct Clinical Services: Providing assessment and counseling to individuals and families, coordinating services with other agencies and providers, and facilitating referrals as needed.
- Consultation and Education Services: Offering mental health and/or substance use consultation to the community, area agencies, and schools, as required.
- Clinical Case Management and Social Support: Providing concurrent case management services on an as-needed basis, including service coordination, collateral contacts, and social support services.
- Clinical Record-Keeping: Initiating and maintaining thorough records of client interactions, services provided, and progress notes.
- Administrative, Agency, and Clinical Team Meetings: Participating in meetings designed to inform, problem-solve, and coordinate services and programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess a minimum of a master's degree in a related field, such as social work, psychology, or psychiatric nursing. Additionally, you should be licensed or eligible for licensure in Vermont and have at least one year of experience in the field.
