Schedule: Monday- Friday 7:30AM- 4:00PM
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that production goals are met while adhering to safety standards. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor machinery to ensure efficient production processes.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment as needed.
- Load and unload materials from machines and transport them within the facility.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation of all shipments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to machine operation and safety practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving processes.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
- Capability of performing heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
- Experience working in a distribution center environment is advantageous.
- Must be able to follow instructions accurately and work well under pressure.
- A commitment to maintaining safety standards in the workplace is essential.
