The primary responsibility of a United Sales Center Assistant is to learn the role of a United Sales Center Consultant. The position focuses on learning United’s portfolio and inside sales strategy to sell and service our customers effectively. A Sales Center Assistant works with his or her manager to learn how to sell over the phone, manage marketing material, perform sales deliveries, conduct staff training, perform quality audits, and learn the United Sales Center technology platform. Sales Center Assistant helps torun vacation routes for fellow Sales Center Consultants to practice these skills in the sales center. This position is perfect for a self-motivated, competitive individual who thrives in situations requiring a high level of collaboration, organization, interpersonal skills, and creativity.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older
- High school or vocational school diploma or GED equivalent required
- 1-3 years of sales experience preferred
- Restaurant / Bar / industry experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license for applicable state
- Able to secure and maintain auto liability insurance for applicable state
- Ability to secure and maintain a State Alcohol Sales Permit in accordance with state laws

Learn all facets of the United sales center consultant roleDrive to accountsAssist in covering vacation routes for sales team membersComplete tap handle surveys and beer quality audits for specific customersPerform sales deliveries to customersAssist in selling in United’s products to maintain and increase United’s market shareSell new items and programsUse Encompass to bill orders and run sales reportsBuild positive relationships with customers, United’s sales teams, and United’s delivery associatesAssist with customer product knowledge trainingSupport the sales consultant by tasting new products with customersHelp build sales presentations, pricing sheets, and tasting notes for customers to complement the sale of new itemsAssist with managing marketing material inside of accounts including menus, table tents, and other POS needs.Perform other duties as assignedCompetencies :
