What are the responsibilities and job description for the Projects Coordinator position at United Elevator Services?
Summary: The primary responsibility of the Project Coordinator is to organize jobs, order necessary equipment, and to facilitate communication between manufacturers, general contractors, owners and United Elevator Services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
· Builds job in the software system
· Coordinates all construction and fixed price projects while working with sales and construction superintendents to create scheduled
· Ensure correct ordering of customer equipment.
· Confirm contract payment terms as well as terms on proposals.
· Ensure billings are timely and accurate, reflecting full contractual and change order amounts.
· Confirm final billings at completion of job.
· Review accounts for on-time payments and perform collections as needed.
· Process contracts with attention to detail.
· Verify strategic positions with the GC or owner for accounts payable, construction manager, and construction superintendent.
· Verify salesman’s pricing with contract and vendors.
· Verify salesman’s product selection with specifications and drawings.
· Order permits and issue change orders
· Order submittals and revised prints.
· Issue purchase orders for new installations, RMA reports, and warranty parts.
· Release jobs to production with the manufacture upon approval, clearly and accurately communicating customer specifications and delivery expectations.
· Organize the process of jobs, facilitating communication between manufacturer, general contractors, owners, and United Elevator Services.
· Collect money on completed construction jobs.
· Work directly with United Elevator Services Sales Representatives, Superintendents, and Field Supervisors to ensure project accuracy.
· Organize closeout documents.
