Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Possible Hours: 7:30 am – 4:30 pm; 9:00am – 6:00 pm

Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervising and training other professionals, such as board-certified assistant behavior analysts (BCABAs) and registered behavior technicians (RBTs)
-
Assist in the development, facilitation, and follow-up training in Applied Behavior Analysis.

Facilitate and assist in the development and identification of resources and support information for the children and their families

Provide model teaching and other direct instructional supports including, but not limited to, practicum supervision/teaching, class instruction and in-service instruction to other support professionals.

Assist in the development and implementation of assessment tools, to conduct functional assessments and analyses when appropriate, and to develop appropriate behavior strategies to teach appropriate behavior and reduce manipulative behaviors.

Provide ongoing support and training to direct support professionals, ABA implements, and other individuals in support roles for families. Staying current with new ABA techniques, methods, and findings.
Position Requirements:

Master’s degree in psychology, applied behavior analysis, or related human services field.

Accreditation as a behavior analyst or suitable equivalent in Virginia.

Certification as a BCBA.

Current on all required training/certifications

Dedication to exceptional patient outcomes and quality of care.

Strong knowledge and experience in administering various assessment tools, treatment plans and equipment.

Excellent verbal and report writing skills.
