United Enertech is seeking a positive and self-motivating candidate for Inside Sales Representative. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will provide assistance to customers as they quote and purchase air movement control products such as louvers, dampers, roof curbs, and life/safety needed for a wide variety of commercial and industrial building projects. The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for taking calls from customers, prospective customers by effectively selling the company?s products and related services based on the needs and applications of our valued customers.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and develop business relationships with assigned accounts
- Provide a high level of customer service in a timely, effective and efficient manner
- Communicates products and services to existing/potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
- Identifies advantages and compares organization's products and services.
- Makes contact through telephone and email to existing and prospective customers to present products and information.
- Follow up on submitted quote request and project management for existing orders.
- Monitor and follow up on active jobs and quotes
- Develop technical understanding of company products and their applications
- Act as first responder for customer call-in requests regarding products or services
- It is essential that this position provide good communication between the customer, engineering and the production teams in order to accomplish a positive customer experience
- Process and enter sales orders and quotations thru internal pricing program
- Do project take offs for customers as needed
- Maintain project schedules in quote/project management system ensuring timely project management including: Submittals, drawing approvals, Delivery Schedules
- Other tasks as assigned
- Participates in trade shows as needed.
- Less than 10% travel to visit key accounts annually

Education and Experience
- Bachelors Degree preferred but not required
- 2 or more years experience in the HVAC industry preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in similar role preferred (Inside Sales/Account Manager/Product Management)
Skills and Qualifications
- Highly developed interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Experience with Project Management preferred
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as engineering drawings preferred
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, percentages
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong knowledge of MS Office and the Windows environment, including Word, Excel and Power Point.
