When a guest enters my area or department, my first and most important responsibility becomes to acknowledge, greet, and engage that guestDifferentiate in products and service by producing quality productsFollow daily work schedule as assigned by managementEnsure quality and consistent product availability and solutions to our guestsResponsible for maintaining positive atmosphere, spirit and morale within the departmentSupport and execute against division concepts and programsUtilize floral systems and processes consistently and correctlyPractice safe work habits; maintain a high level of store cleanliness, organization, and a safe work environmentResponsible for safeguarding, controlling and monitoring all floral department assets, ensuring policy and procedures are implemented for control of assetsAccurately write and follow detailed instructions on special orders to ensure product meets or exceeds the guest's expectationsEnsure special orders are ready 30 minutes prior to pick-up or delivery timeEnsure wedding flowers are ready two hours prior to pickup or delivery timeAssist in watering and department maintenance as neededPerform other duties assigned by managementKey Requirements :

Minimum of six months experience in retail floral designing and volume productionWorking knowledge of plants and flowersAbility to work at fast-paced, but efficient and controlled mannerAbility to perform all physical aspects of position, including but not limited to standing, bending, lifting, climbing, squatting and walkingAbility to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 lbs. and push and pull up to 100 lbs.Ability to work within a cooler for up to 15 minutesAbility to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitudeAttend meetings and training sessions when called uponAbility to work a flexible schedule, including holidaysAbility to function as a team member and get along with others
