PRODUCTION SUPERVISORQUALIFICATIONS : Bilingual skills preferred but not required2-5 years of production experience preferredKnowledge of meat processing and job specificationsStrong management and communication skills advantageousRESPONSIBILITIES : Monitor the (slaughter OR fabrication) area by evaluating product quality and implementing corrective procedures as needed, including indirect training on job specifications.Manage attendance by coordinating personnel to fill vacancies and minimize turnover rates.Conduct pre-operational inspections, set up production equipment, and submit maintenance work orders as required.Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace safety, and human resources policies.Foster a positive working environment by engaging with personnel regularly.Audit product quality and employee safety throughout shifts.Reduce waste by minimizing inedible products and maintaining a sanitary work environment.Process post-operational attendance data using tracking systems.Lead monthly or as-needed team meetings to address departmental concerns and updates.WORKING CONDITIONS : Work within production and maintenance environmentsExposure to chemicals, machinery, and knivesConditions may include slippery floors, high temperatures, and loud ambient noiseRegularly working 50 hours per week on the harvest or hides production floor
