What You’ll Do:
Facility Maintenance & Operations (40%)
- Keep our buildings, greenhouses, irrigation systems, and field infrastructure in top shape.
- Manage routine and emergency repairs; work with outside vendors and contractors.
- Oversee inventory of tools and supplies, maintain security systems, and conduct facility inspections.
- Champion waste management, recycling, and environmentally-safe practices.
Health, Safety & Compliance (40%)
- Develop, implement, and enforce safety protocols that protect our team and assets.
- Lead safety training, emergency drills, and ensure all equipment is compliant and operational.
- Conduct inspections, risk assessments, and investigations following incidents or near misses.
- Manage fleet safety, hazardous materials, and regulatory compliance reporting (OSHA, EPA, etc.).
Farming Support (20%)

Pitch in with greenhouse and field operations when needed—transplanting, maintenance, and quality control.

Requirements:
What You Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor's in Safety, Facilities, or related field preferred.
- Valid California Driver’s License (required).
- Pesticide handling certification or willingness to obtain.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is highly preferred.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a facilities or safety role, ideally in ag or industrial environments.
- Solid knowledge of OSHA, safety protocols, and facilities best practices.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, kneel, and work in hot outdoor/greenhouse environments.
- Comfortable working around agro-industrial chemicals and operating specialized equipment (forklifts, sprayers, etc.).
- Flexible with work hours during peak seasons or emergencies.
