In support of our project, we need a person to assist in sample preparation, sample test and analysis, extrusion runs and injection molding of parts. Under the direction of the staff, the work is expected to consist of the following :
- Prepare scintillator samples for light yield measurement.
- Measure samples using existing system and record data in excel.
- Prepare coating samples for reflectivity measurements.
- Measure samples using existing system and record data in excel.
- Support operation of the extrusion line.
- Assist in both the running of the extrusion line and QC of the resultant parts.
- Support operation of the injection molding of parts.
- Assist in both the running of the injection molder and QC of the resultant parts.
Qualifications :
We are interested in technicians who have at least 3-years’ experience in the polymer industry. A candidate with work experience in one or more of these areas is desired :

Expected duration : The position will be either part time or full time depending on candidate availability.
