Job Title : Virtual Monitor Tech / Telemetry Tech / EKG Tech
Location : Phoenix, AZ
Job Type : Full-Time, 13-week contract with potential of extension
Shift : Day Shift
Shift Length : 12 hours
Weekend Requirement Weekends, must work 4 weekend shifts during a schedule. Weekends are Friday, Saturday for nightshift and Saturday, Sunday for dayshift.

Job Requirements :
Minimum Experience : 2 years of recent related work experience in cardiac monitoring (3 years preferred)
Required Certifications : BLS
Education : Graduation from an accredited program with EKG Interpretation
License : Must have the necessary certifications or licensure required for the role
Advanced Dysrhythmia Exam : Must pass prior to accepting the role (Lethal rhythms are pass / fail with one chance)
Responsibilities :
Perform remote surveillance for multiple locations, focusing on cardio-pulmonary rhythms
Recognize and report dangerous rhythm changes and arrhythmias following established standards
Follow communication protocols and escalate issues to local RN staff as needed
Monitor up to 60 patients simultaneously using advanced IT technology in a centralized monitoring unit
Take appropriate action based on established protocols and procedures
Strive to improve patient outcomes and department metrics
Work under the direction of a Registered Nurse, following established guidelines.
