What are the responsibilities and job description for the PAYROLL COORDINATOR position at United Hebrew of New Rochelle?
As a result of our growth, United Hebrew of New Rochelle is adding a Payroll Coordinator position to work wi thethin payroll team. This position will provide support to the campus-wide payroll function, and some of the primary duties will include :
- Review and edit employee time cards via Kronos / UKG timekeeping system on a biweekly basis. Ensure bi-weekly payrolls are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Update payroll records regularly and check timesheets for accuracy and obtain necessary approvals. Audit and follow up on missing time punches and Work through lunch forms.
- Sort and distribute payroll checks and any payroll related forms
- Work closely with Human Resources and Accounting on all payroll related issues.
- Ensure changes to payroll are processed correctly to include updating employee records with applicable benefit deductions such as garnishments, AFLAC, Principal, Union dues etc.
Previous payroll experience required including Time & Attendance, along with strong customer service, excel skills along with good time management and deadline awareness. Professional office environment and career opportunity.
