Position: IT Systems Administrator

United Hospital District is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated IT professional to join our growing IT department as a full-time IT Systems Administrator. Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, prioritize, and resolve service requests in a timely manner
- Provide expert-level IT support for escalated issues from the helpdesk, ensuring prompt and effective resolution to support 300 employees
- Assist in the deployment of operating system patches across workstations and servers
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of standardized workstation images for efficient and accurate deployments
- Administer and maintain Active Directory, including group policy objects
- Conduct training for staff on both basic and advanced Microsoft Office suite functionalities
- Collaborate in identifying, troubleshooting, and mitigating security threats
- Develop, maintain, and update procedural documentation
- Provide support for peripheral devices, including IP phones, printers, scanners, and networked equipment
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets and equipment, supporting over 800 endpoints
- Participate in various IT projects and research initiatives to enhance the organization's technology infrastructure
- Facilitate and help manage relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring effective communication and fostering strong partnerships
