What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll/Human Resources Specialist position at United Hospital District?
This position will provide oversight of the payroll function, including accurately processing bi-weekly payroll using UKG for over 300 employees to ensure our employees are paid accurately and on time while adhering to all federal, state, and local tax regulations. This position will be the main point of contact for all payroll related inquiries and involves managing all payroll activities, generating reports and collaborating with finance. In addition to payroll duties, this position will support the Human Resource Manager in HR areas including compensation, benefits, recruiting, screening, maintaining records, new employee onboarding/orientation, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, as well as other areas as needed. This position is scheduled to be approximately 30-40 hours/week and is a full-benefits position. Payroll experience and Associate's degree required. Come join the committed and caring team at UHD!
