Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Help Desk Analyst to join our IT support team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware and software issues across various platforms including Windows and Mac OS.
- Assist users with VPN connectivity and troubleshoot related issues.
- Respond to help desk tickets using Remedy or similar ticketing systems, ensuring timely resolution of requests.
- Perform network administration tasks, including managing DNS and TCP/IP configurations.
- Maintain documentation of support processes, solutions, and user guides to enhance team knowledge.
- Collaborate with other IT staff to resolve complex issues and improve overall service delivery.
- Monitor IT infrastructure performance and report any anomalies or potential problems.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users on new technologies or software applications as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Help Desk or Technical Support role, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with network administration concepts and tools, including DNS and TCP/IP protocols.
- Proficient in troubleshooting both Windows and Mac OS environments.
- Experience with VPN technologies and remote access solutions.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure components and best practices in technical support.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Network ) are a plus but not required.
