SolarWinds Orion - Ivanti CMDB Integration Architect
Location – Evansville, Indiana
Design Integration Solution: Architect the integration between SolarWinds Orion and Ivanti CMDB for seamless data synchronization.
- CI Data Mapping: Map SolarWinds data (network, performance metrics, alerts) to Configuration Items (CIs) in Ivanti CMDB.
- Automate Data Flow: Implement automation to synchronize SolarWinds monitoring data to Ivanti CMDB via API or scripting.
- Alert & Event Management: Ensure SolarWinds alerts are integrated into Ivanti CMDB, triggering incident and problem management processes.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor integration performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain data accuracy.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with network and operations teams to ensure integration meets business and technical requirements.
Expertise in SolarWinds Orion and Ivanti CMDB.
- Familiarity with SNMP, WMI, and network monitoring protocols.
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python).
- Experience with APIs and integrations.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
Minimum of 12 years of IT experience, with at least 8 years in SolarWinds Orion solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Network Engineering, or related field.
- SolarWinds certification.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Experience with monitoring and management tools.
