Responsibilities
- Identify the scope of the project and the resources required to complete the job.
- Perform property measurements to determine completion time, labor time, and billing.
- Enter data accurately into computer landscaping software programs to prepare detailed landscape estimates.
- Assist in completing work proposals and bid forms.
- Contact customers and/or vendors for additional information as needed.
- Schedule site visits as required.
- Meet deadlines in a timely manner.
- Update bid documents and maintain office documents as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Experience with Adobe, AutoCAD, Plotting, or blueprints is a plus.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to meet scheduled deadlines without sacrificing customer service or quality.
- Ability to learn and retain a working knowledge of plants, trees, and industry-specific work materials.
- Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to build and sustain positive working relationships with co-workers, office staff, vendors, and customers.
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of relevant software including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent planning and organizing skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
