Field Production Manager – Landscape Construction / Hardscaping
United Landscape (UL) in Lexington KY seeks an experienced manager for our landscape construction team. We seek an individual capable of leading a team to deliver the highest standard of service. UL serves high-end residential landscapes, and we are looking for a dedicated, hard-working, efficient person who takes pride in performing work of excellent quality.
Your Mission:
As a Field Production Manager, you will ensure that client contracts are fulfilled to the highest standard of quality. You will manage crews on-site and coordinate services to maximize client satisfaction. Production managers must also effectively manage work for the highest productivity and quality control. You will conduct safety and general training, ensuring crews comply with the required industry best practices and safety standards. As a manager, you are expected to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, project managers, vendors, and subcontractors. This job also requires excellent customer and public relations, accurate record-keeping and project management, and exceptional communication skills.

- Experienced as a crew leader on a construction and/or a landscape design/build team
- Have experience installing hardscape, planting, lighting, and drainage projects
- Able to read landscape and/or construction plans, and manage subcontractors
- Dedicated and enthusiastic
- A team-oriented problem-solver
Excellent Candidates Would Have:
- Five years’ experience as a construction, landscape crew leader
- B.S. in Construction Management or Landscape Architecture, a minor in Construction Management or related field OR have five years' experience in a related field
- ICPI Installer Certification
- The ability to lead and inspire others
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- The ability to be a self-starter

Employment Requirements:
- At least five years’ general experience in landscaping or construction fields
- A valid driver's license with no DUI/DWI convictions in the previous five years
- Have the legal right to work in the United States
- Be physically capable of performing the required duties (repetitive movements including extensive push/pull motion, bending/twisting/stooping, lifting 50 lbs.)
- High school degree or G.E.D.
