We are looking for individuals with at least 1 year of experience in utility locating and/or damage prevention.
Rate of Pay:
The starting rate of pay ranges from $23.00/hour and Up and is based on experience in locating.

As a key player in our organization, you will play a crucial role in identifying and marking underground utility lines to prevent damage during construction and excavation projects.
Responsibilities:
- Travel: Be prepared to work in different locations as needed, providing utility locating services to a diverse range of clients
- Underground Utility Detection: Use state-of-the-art equipment to accurately locate and mark underground utility lines, including gas, electric, and telecommunication lines
- Mapping and Documentation: Record and document accurate and detailed information about the located utilities to provide essential data for construction and excavation projects
- Communication: Collaborate with project managers, construction crews, and other stakeholders to ensure clear and effective communication regarding utility locations and potential hazards
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others on the job site
- Problem Solving: Quickly and effectively address any issues or challenges related to utility location, providing solutions that prioritize safety and efficiency
Status & Schedule: This is a Full-Time position. Schedule varies according to needs but is typically 8-10 hours per day.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid, unexpired Driver's License
- Experience: Previous experience in utility locating or related field is preferred but not mandatory. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with utility locating equipment and technology is a plus.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to different job sites and locations
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with team members and clients
- Physical Fitness: This position requires physical activity, including walking, standing, and lifting, as well as the ability to work outdoors in various environment
