Job Summary:
The Regional Operations Manager (ROM) is responsible for ensuring the multi-site locations within their assigned region operate to the highest standard of URS quality services possible. The ROM will be responsible for managing as well as directing the clinical personnel in his/her assigned Region to meet customer/partnership/joint venture needs. The ROM ensures quality and efficiency of the URS service which supports customer relations and retention of both facilities and physician partners.
The ROM is responsible for team performance, physician relations, regional clinical and financial performance, adherence to company policies and procedures, and meeting daily assignments as assigned by the corporate scheduling department. The ROM will perform URS Laser Lithotripsy treatments as needed. ROM will lead and develop their team to ensure best practices are followed by all, to achieve high scope utilization while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Provide strong leadership and improve the business process through analysis and collaboration.
- Collaborate with UMS scheduling team, physician office schedulers and OR facility schedulers to maximize UMS Tech availability and coverage, ensuring the capture of all URS cases.
- Address and document calls, texts and emails from facilities and physicians pertaining to all URS concerns (scheduling, complaints, incidents and all applicable).
- Participate after hours call coverage rotation.
- Act as UMS liaison to all stakeholders including but not limited to visits and ongoing communication with Physicians, contracted facility administration, OR staff, and scheduling personnel to build professional relationships and improve communication and service availability.
- Work with URS administrative personnel to implement best demonstrated practices, review current practices and policies as well as create new policies and procedures as necessary.
- Collaborate with UMS administration to develop strategic operational metrics and financial goals.
- Monthly performance reviews with operations administration.
- Monitor and document performance, productivity, time management and conduct of Laser Lithotripsy Technicians/Technologists. Promote skill development/cross training and provide feedback and/or record corrective actions as necessary under URS Management/ HR guidance and make recommendations for improvement.

- Incident report review, investigation and follow up.
- Assist in the implementation process of new facilities or accounts and support cases as needed or until permanent Tech is in place.
- Monitor scope utilization within their region.
- Schedule and conduct in-services (new/existing facilities as needed).
- Work with QA/QM department to ensure all pertinent information is documented, tracked and correctly reported. Survey readiness 24/7/365.
- Team building and development: Assist in recruiting, interviewing, training, and retaining URS staff.
- Ensure mandatory credentialing compliance by assisting techs with all necessary facility specific credentialing documents/process including competency, compliance, health files and facility specific questionnaires.
- Complete annual performance evaluations on all URS territory personnel.
- Coordinate and implement communication protocols with Techs and UMS equipment service department to ensure proper documentation and timely service is provided to all field equipment.
- Trouble shoot equipment issues with assistance of service department and/or manufacturer.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1 years of experience as a URS Clinical Support Specialist is preferred.
- Prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Proficient with multiple Laser platforms and devices.
- Current BLS/CPR
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective decision-making skills
- Ability to cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with service companies, manufacturers, and other providers/suppliers.
