Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Audio Visual Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting audio-visual equipment for worship service and events. This role requires technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Set up and operate audio-visual equipment, including projectors, sound systems, and lighting for events.
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of AV systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with event coordinators to understand technical requirements and provide solutions.
- Install cabling and low voltage systems as needed for various projects.
- Utilize hand tools and electrical equipment safely while adhering to industry standards.
- Provide technical support during events, ensuring all AV components function smoothly.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, repairs, and inventory.
Skills
- Proficient in ProPresenter Presentation Software, Microsoft Office, Adobe.
- Proficient in software troubleshooting related to audio-visual systems.
- Strong knowledge of cabling techniques and low voltage installations.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and mechanical knowledge relevant to AV technology.
- Competence in computer hardware setup and maintenance related to AV applications.
- Ability to work with hand tools effectively and safely in various environments.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and congregation.
