Location: Columbus, Ohio
Reports to: Closing Manager
Position Summary:
The Loan Closer primary responsibility is to ensure compliance with SBA requirements as well as recognize and proactively resolve problems in the closing process to ensure accuracy and completion of all necessary loan documents. In this role, you will work closely with the Closing Manager, attorneys, and other third parties throughout the closing process to ensure the completeness and accuracy of all information.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to effectively communicate with bank personnel of all levels, and bank clients
- Strong analytical, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently, establish priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Basic Office Machine Operation Skills, Printers, Scanners, Copiers, Fax, postage machine, etc.
