Health Promotions Manager Compensation:
- $55,692.00 to $72,327.00 Exempt Salary (depending on experience).
Health Promotions Manager Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies that will ensure the maximum outcomes for HIV and other preventative programs.
- Responsible for management, development, employee performance and ongoing training of program employees and for providing technical assistance for all new employees and volunteers.
- Assist Program employees with development and implementation of service plans, programs, grant research, and oversee day to day operations relating to outreach, promotion, marketing and implementation of HIV /STI testing in assigned state.
- Develop annual HIV Intervention Plan, Syringe Exchange Program, Tobacco Prevention Program and other related projects, including budgeting and implementing and enforcing UMOS procedures and protocols relating to all programs under Health Promotions.
- Develop, administer, and analyze client services satisfaction
- Establish strategic partnerships with agencies and service providers, providing referrals as needed via case management, to augment client services and provide education and recruitment messages in the
- Provide and monitor STI/HIV Rapid Testing & Counseling services to targeted populations, according to recommended state of Wisconsin guidelines, procedures and protocols, provide ORASURE or refer for blood draw on confirmatory testing for clients with indeterminate/positive
- Ensure compliance with reporting and quality control on all HIV/STI/Hepatitis C testing and data entry information, including positive case follow up and tracking services.
- Assure program quality through data monitoring, random file and system audits, and participant feedback. Analyze and collect client demographic and other required data. Create and submit all program data/ reports to the program V.P. and to the Funding Source/State as required.
- Provide information, assistance, resources, and/or referrals to other UMOS or other local programs for persons identified as needing services.
- Develop supplemental culturally sensitive curriculums for services offered under Health Promotions.
- Research possible additional funding sources, develop proposals and budgets, and in cooperation with Resource Development and program Vice President, submit funding requests.

Health Promotions Manager Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, health, or related field with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in health-related or mental health related
- Able to demonstrate through either education or combination of education and two or more years of related professional experience knowledge of case management techniques, effective utilization of complex service delivery system, and ability to supervise and lead employees.
- Must demonstrate awareness, knowledge, and sensitivity to socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds of the target population.
- Must have advanced Microsoft Office Suite skill level (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook and PowerPoint).
- Ability to recognize high risk indictors for persons that may be infected with HIV/STI or Hepatitis C.
- Must have or acquire, within 6 months of employment, state certifications in: Foundations for HIV Prevention, Basic Counseling skills for HIV Prevention, HIV Counseling, Testing and Referral Services Program, ORAQUICK HIV Rapid Testing Program and other grant compliance certifications.
- Bilingual in English & Spanish preferred.
- Must have a reliable vehicle, adequate insurance and the ability to travel statewide on a flexible basis.
