What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at United Neighborhood Centers NEPA?
This position supports all UNC locations.
Hours: Full-time hours Monday through Friday with availability to participate in weekly team On-Call rotation.
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Facilities, this position performs routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures for all UNC facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting and repair experience:
- Basic electrical fixtures and circuits including low voltage electronic, 120/240V
- Windows/doors
- Lock and entryway experience.
- Flooring/carpet basic installation
- Household plumbing systems and fixtures
- HVAC systems-heat pumps, air handlers, gas burners, boilers and associated equipment
- Experience in painting, prep, best practices and techniques
- Available to participate in On-Call rotation
- Ability to participate in snow removal-use of blowers/plows/shovels/salt carts
- Experience in grounds keeping-use of trimmers/mowers
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- All duties as assigned
Education/Experience/Licensure
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum 2 years experience with advanced maintenance repairs and knowledge of technical discipline is required.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
