About the Position
Position Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Quality Assurance to lead our Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) efforts within our healthcare technology organization. The ideal candidate will drive process improvements, implement automation strategies, and leverage the Microsoft DevOps technology stack to ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Note: we will evaluate candidates at the Assistant Director and Director level for this position
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the QA and QC teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare technology solutions.
- Develop, implement, and maintain QA and QC processes and standards.
- Drive continuous process improvements to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of automation frameworks using Selenium, Gherkin, C#, and SQL.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate QA processes within the Microsoft DevOps technology stack.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and report on key quality metrics and performance indicators.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to QA and QC team members.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in QA methodologies and technologies.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control
- 3 years of people management experience.
Critical Skills
- Experience in the healthcare technology industry.
- Certification in Quality Assurance or related fields.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards in healthcare technology.
- Strong knowledge of QA and QC processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in automation tools and frameworks, including Selenium, Gherkin, C#, and SQL.
- Experience with the Microsoft DevOps technology stack.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.
Physical Requirements
- General office demands
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Frequent reaching, handling, and fine manipulation for using office equipment, filing, and managing paperwork.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, mouse, and other office tools.
- Occasional standing, walking, and bending.
- Ability to lift up to 10-20 pounds occasionally.
- Vision abilities required include close vision for computer work and reading documents.
