Department: Quality Assurance – Vendor Surveillance/Continuing Analysis and Surveillance System (VS/CASS)
Work Environment: Office environment. Business casual dress.
Job Summary: Ensures compliance with all industry and government regulations required to maintain the airworthiness certificate and other certification standards. Develops, plans, and evaluates internal audit programs for all airline functions to ensure compliance with the organization's policies, procedures, standards, and regulatory requirements. Evaluates/audits operational processes and systems, reports results, provides recommendations in response to findings, and verifies timely and effective implementation of corrective actions.
Provides administrative or technical support to ensure effective on-going operations. Applies knowledge of established processes and procedures to execute with excellence. Requires full proficiency in a range of assignments gained through training and considerable experience. Provides solutions to problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently occurring. Takes a broad perspective to problems and spots new, less obvious solutions. Identifies key issues and patterns from partial/conflicting data. Completes work with a limited supervision. Likely to act as an informal resource for colleague with less experience.
Job Description:
The VS/CASS Senior Administrative Associate responsibilities include the following:
- Maintain and distribute the Contract Maintenance Provider List (CMPL).
- Process Air Carrier Maintenance Provider (ACMP) addition, change, and deletion requests.
- Process ACMP deviations requests.
- Activate/deactivate repair ACMP in the Maintenance Inventory Planning System (MIPS).
- Process audit reports, corrective action plans, ACMP certificates, operation specifications, and other documents.
- Process and upload CASS Audit Checklist revisions.
- Process and distribute monthly reports.
- Coordinate, track, and maintain the Internation Airlines Technical Pool (IATP) program.
- Maintain Administrative and Training Manual.
- Maintain content on the VS/CASS SharePoint.
Required Skills: Understand CASS Programs including audits, surveillance and corrective action processes. Strong organizational and filing skills regarding maintaining regulatory documents. Understands CASS functions, regulations, and requirements of regulatory agencies. Proficiency with commercial software applications including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access). Be able to work independently and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
Interpersonal Skills: Be able to use verbal and written communication effectively with various levels of management. Maintain flexibility and adaptability in a complicated environment.
