About the Role:
United Petfood is a global producer of private label pet foods with 25 production facilities. Recently we have purchased our first dry pet food production facility in the US. Reporting to the US Sales Director, the group is looking for a full-time Sales Manager to cover the US market. Ideally located in the Mishawaka (IN) area (but can be flexible for the right candidate) you will either have a proven track record within the pet industry or have Business Development experience and a passion for pets.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- As Business Development Manager you actively look for new potential customers and maintain & grow relationships with existing partners.
- You will manage customer projects from initial development through to launch and be the link between United Petfood and our customers.
- To regularly be in our Mishawaka facility building relationships with the manufacturing team and being available host customer visits.
- You will continually review the Petfood market in the US and stay up to date with new trends and opportunities.
- You will be required to participate in National and International Trade shows.
- You keep a record of all prospects & customers: their contacts, their orders and the status of the different projects.
- You will be required to travel frequently to visit customers within the US and occasionally internationally.
