We are looking for a fluent Spanish speaker to join our tax office as a Front Office Assistant. Fluency in Spanish is a must—no exceptions—as many of our clients speak Spanish, and effective communication is critical to providing exceptional service.
This is a seasonal position lasting until the end of April, with the potential for year-round employment if it’s a great fit. We are open all year, so there may be opportunities for continued work beyond the tax season.
Job Overview
The Front Office Assistant will manage front office operations, provide top-tier customer service, and handle essential administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment. This role requires excellent communication skills, organization, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence with efficiency.
- Schedule appointments and maintain organized calendars.
- Keep filing systems up to date and ensure documents are well-organized.
- Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity.
- Use computer systems for data entry, record keeping, and administrative tasks.
- Support team members with various clerical duties as needed.
- Ensure the front office is clean, organized, and welcoming.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Spanish is required (no exceptions) to communicate effectively with clients.
- Previous experience in office management or administrative roles is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency with office software and computer systems.
- Excellent attention to detail, especially with proofreading.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
