Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Dispatcher to join our team. As a Dispatch, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient coordination between our logistics team and customers, providing top-notch service and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispatch
- Receive and process incoming service requests.
- Assign and dispatch field service personnel based on location, expertise, and workload.
- Monitor and track progress of assigned tasks to ensure timely completion.
- Customer Interaction:
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, addressing questions and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Provide accurate and timely information regarding service status, estimated arrival times, and any potential delays.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, service requests, and customer interactions using company systems and software.
- Generate reports on dispatch performance metrics and customer feedback for review and analysis.
- Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with field service teams to optimize scheduling and ensure resources are allocated efficiently.
- Communicate and coordinate with other departments to resolve complex customer issues.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and suggest improvements to enhance dispatch efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in dispatching, customer service, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using dispatch software and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and navigate high-stress situations effectively.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
