Job Title: SERVICE DISPATCHER
Summary
This position is responsible for administrative duties, including billing, handling incoming service calls, scheduling work orders, dispatching service technicians, ordering and receiving parts, and performing other assigned tasks.
Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls in a professional and timely manner and respond accordingly.
- Enter service work orders into the property management system timely and accurately.
- Dispatch service work orders to field workers efficiently.
- Monitor open work orders and ensure timely completion.
- Support process improvement efforts.
- Foster team spirit through feedback and positive reinforcement.
- Assist with cleaning duties when needed.
- Make recommendations to improve service and operations.
- Effectively resolve quality issues with guests/owners.
- Follow up with owners, guests, and internal departments in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and the ability to learn new programs.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
- Self-motivation to handle guest, owner, or team member issues.
- Ability to sit at a computer/phone for an entire shift.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Availability to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit and work on a computer/phone for an entire shift.
- Ability to move/lift up to 15 pounds as needed.
- Ability to assist with housekeeping duties if needed.
Compensation
$18.00 per hour
