Responsible for the implementation and utilization of information systems. Assist the manager in planning, leading, and directing others to accomplish stated objectives. Performs engineer/analyst role while serving as a working coordinator. This position requires advanced computer skills and continuous learning to improve and broaden skillset and system knowledge. This individual must have a broad understanding of systems, system integration, and IT methodologies used to support a modern healthcare environment. This position has management responsibilities and completes projects through leadership of others for whom it has line responsibility.
Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- University degree in Healthcare, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related subjects preferred, not required. Work experience may be considered as a substitute for degree.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Experience in healthcare, business or operation setting or functional and/or systems build/integration and reporting experience.
- Knowledge and skills necessary to provide comprehensive support for systems/applications.
- Skilled in communicating positively with end users, other analysts, management, and customers.
- Experience managing projects with proven ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, maintain issues lists, and manage a project plan to completion.
- Demonstrate workflows and ability to research, analyze, and thoroughly understand end user workflows, and use this knowledge to build and configure systems which improve processes and add efficiencies.
- Must be able to effectively lead others to accomplish specific goals and outcomes as directed.
- May be asked to cross-train in other disciplines as needed.
- Experience leading large and complex projects.
Physical Requirements
- Primarily work 8 to 5 Monday - Friday; may be asked to work additional hours as needed, including weekends.
- Take on-call rotation as assigned and be available during rotation as needs arise.
- May be expected to lift over twenty-five (25) pounds.
- Ability to distinguish between numbers and symbols.
- Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity with substantial movement of wrist and/or fingers. Walking and climbing to accomplish tasks.
- Corrected vision and hearing to normal or near normal range.
- Extended periods of sitting and/or walking depending on specific duties.
Network Infrastructure Coordinator
Duties and Responsibilities
- Focus on the design, provisioning, maintenance, and management of network infrastructure, including routers and switches.
- Manage cloud-based network solutions, including Azure and AWS.
- Oversee firewall configurations and network security protocols.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Conduct network assessments and audits.
- Document network configurations and changes.
- Lead multiple concurrent network projects and manage user expectations.
- Assist application analysts with the overall planning, development, and implementation of software applications.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
