Job Description:
The Quality Engineer is responsible for enhancing existing procedures and processes within our system, collaborating with team members to develop new quality controls, tests, and verifications.
Main Responsibilities:
- Implement methods for sampling, inspection, testing, and evaluation of products.
- Support engineering, research and development, and manufacturing departments to ensure successful transition of products and processes from design to production.
- Manage internal Welding Documentation, Customer Specification Notebooks, to comply with customer requirements and meet ISO standards.
- Lead Corrective Actions and Root Cause Analysis throughout the organization.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Quality, Mechanical, or Industrial engineering preferred. Will accept Associates Degree of relevant discipline and/or applicable work experience.
- Certification as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) or SSGB (Six Sigma Green Belt) from the American Society for Quality a plus.
- 1-3 years previous experience in a Quality engineer, quality assurance, or related role.
- Experience in regulated environment utilizing ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
